Valley is pleased to offer visits to a REAL Wisconsin Dairy Farm!
Located just moments from Thunder Valley Inn, guests will be able
to observe a working, modern-day dairy facility that has been in
the Nelson family for 40 years. Donald and his two sons, Peter and
Nels, run the operation, along with help from Donald's wife Anita,
Peter's wife Toril, and of course, several 'hired hands." From
the fully handicapped accessible viewing room you may watch twice
a day milkings. Visits are by appointment. Watch as farmers bring
in the registered dairy herd, shift by shift, to be milked in the
newly built milking parlour. This may be the most interesting and
educational part of your Wisconsin Dells visit. Then, top off your
farm visit with a rousing farm breakfast, luncheon, or threshing
dinner show at Thunder Valley Inn!
Tour groups, youth groups, families, and couples have been
enjoying Thunder Valley Inn's home-cooking, family-fun entertainment
